About the Role
We are seeking a structured and process-driven Change Manager to own and govern the end-to-end change management process across our IT and technology environment. You will ensure that all changes to systems, infrastructure, and applications are assessed, approved, and implemented in a controlled and risk-managed manner that protects service stability and business continuity.
Key Responsibilities
Change Governance — Own and enforce the change management process and policy across all IT changes, ensuring compliance with ITIL standards and internal frameworks.
Change Advisory Board (CAB) — Chair and facilitate regular CAB meetings, ensuring all standard, normal, and emergency changes are reviewed, approved, and tracked.
Risk & Impact Assessment — Review change requests for completeness, risk, impact, and rollback planning; identify conflicts with other changes or maintenance windows.
Change Scheduling — Maintain the Forward Schedule of Change (FSC), coordinate change windows, and communicate upcoming changes to affected stakeholders.
Emergency Change Management — Manage the expedited approval and post-implementation review process for emergency changes, ensuring documentation and lessons learned are captured.
Reporting & Metrics — Track change success rates, change failure rates, and unauthorised changes; produce regular reports for IT leadership.
Continuous Improvement — Identify patterns in change-related incidents and drive process improvements to reduce risk and improve change quality.
Qualifications & Experience
3+ years of experience in IT Change Management within a complex, global technology environment
ITIL v4 Foundation certification (or higher); formal Change Management certification is a plus
Deep understanding of ITIL change management processes, including standard, normal, and emergency change types
Experience chairing CAB sessions and managing change governance across multiple teams
Familiarity with ITSM tools such as Jira Service Management, ServiceNow, or equivalent
Strong organisational and communication skills with ability to manage multiple stakeholders
Ability to work across technical and non-technical audiences with clarity and authority
Preferred Qualifications
ITIL Practitioner or Managing Professional certification
Experience with DevOps and Agile change management approaches
Background in infrastructure, cloud, or application change in a regulated industry
