About the Role

We are seeking a Front-end Developer Team Leader to lead our front-end engineering team in building fast, accessible, and visually polished user experiences. You will balance hands-on coding with mentoring and delivery ownership, working closely with design, product, and back-end teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of front-end developers; support growth through coaching and clear expectations.

• Set front-end architecture standards, including component libraries, state management, and performance practices.

• Plan sprints and manage the team's workload to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.

• Establish code review, testing, and accessibility standards across the team.

• Partner closely with UX/UI designers to ensure pixel-accurate, responsive implementation.

• Coordinate with back-end and QA teams to deliver integrated, well-tested features.

• Interview and onboard new front-end talent in partnership with Talent Acquisition.

Qualifications & Experience

• 5+ years of front-end development experience, including 1-2+ years leading or mentoring a team.

• Expert-level JavaScript/TypeScript and modern framework experience (React preferred).

• Strong understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and web performance.

• Experience with component-driven development and design systems.

• Familiarity with automated testing (unit, integration, e2e).

• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

• Experience with SEO-aware front-end development is a plus.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native deployment is a plus.

• Experience working with distributed or globally located teams is a plus.
