About the Role
We are looking for a technically skilled and analytically minded Technical SEO Specialist to own the technical health and search performance of our web properties. You will identify and resolve crawlability, indexation, and performance issues, and work closely with development and content teams to ensure best-in-class technical SEO is embedded into everything we build.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Auditing — Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits across our web properties, identifying and prioritising issues related to crawling, indexation, site speed, structured data, and more.
Site Architecture — Advise on and implement best practices for URL structure, internal linking, canonicalisation, pagination, and site hierarchy.
Core Web Vitals & Performance — Monitor and improve Core Web Vitals (LCP, FID, CLS), page speed, and mobile usability across all key pages.
Structured Data & Schema — Implement and maintain structured data markup (JSON-LD) to enhance search appearance and eligibility for rich results.
Crawl & Index Management — Manage robots.txt, XML sitemaps, crawl budget, hreflang, and indexation controls using Google Search Console and log file analysis.
Developer Collaboration — Translate technical SEO requirements into clear briefs for development teams and QA changes in staging and production environments.
Reporting & Monitoring — Track and report on technical SEO KPIs including crawl coverage, indexation rates, Core Web Vitals, and organic traffic trends.
Qualifications & Experience
3+ years of hands-on technical SEO experience in a digital agency or in-house environment
Deep understanding of how search engines crawl, index, and rank web content
Proficiency with SEO tools including Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, and Looker Studio
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO
Experience with log file analysis and crawl budget management
Solid understanding of Core Web Vitals and web performance optimisation
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in iGaming, e-commerce, or large-scale multi-language websites
Knowledge of JavaScript SEO and rendering issues (Googlebot rendering, SSR vs CSR)
Familiarity with Python or Google Apps Script for SEO automation
