About the Role
We are seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical delivery. You will design end-to-end solutions that address complex business challenges, working across sales, product, and engineering teams to ensure that proposed architectures are technically sound, commercially viable, and deliverable within agreed constraints.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design — Design and document comprehensive technology solutions that address client or internal business requirements, including integration architecture, data flows, and system interactions.
Requirements Analysis — Engage with business stakeholders and technical teams to elicit, analyse, and translate requirements into scalable and cost-effective architectural solutions.
Technical Pre-Sales — Support business development and pre-sales activities by producing technical proposals, solution overviews, and responding to RFPs/RFIs.
Architecture Documentation — Produce clear, accurate, and maintainable solution architecture documentation, diagrams, and decision records for internal and external audiences.
Vendor & Technology Assessment — Evaluate third-party vendors, platforms, and integrations; recommend solutions that balance capability, cost, risk, and delivery speed.
Delivery Oversight — Provide architectural oversight during project delivery, working with development teams to ensure solutions are implemented as designed.
Cross-functional Leadership— Collaborate with Software Architects, Product Managers, DevOps, and Security teams to ensure solutions meet all functional and non-functional requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
6+ years of experience in software engineering or solution design, with 2+ years in a Solutions Architect role
Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure), integration patterns, and enterprise architecture frameworks
Experience designing solutions involving APIs, microservices, data pipelines, and third-party integrations
Ability to produce high-quality architecture diagrams and technical documentation (C4, UML, or similar)
Proven experience working on pre-sales, RFP responses, or client-facing solution design
Excellent stakeholder communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for business audiences
Strong commercial awareness and ability to balance technical excellence with delivery pragmatism
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect certification
Experience in iGaming, fintech, or SaaS environments
Familiarity with TOGAF, Zachman, or other enterprise architecture frameworks
