About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Front-End Developer with deep SEO expertise to lead the development of search-optimized, high-performance web experiences. You will serve as the technical authority on front-end SEO across our engineering teams, ensuring that every architectural and implementation decision supports organic visibility, crawlability, and Core Web Vitals performance.
Key Responsibilities
SEO-Led Architecture — Lead the design and implementation of front-end architectures that prioritize search engine crawlability, indexation, and performance — including SSR, SSG, and hybrid rendering strategies.
Performance & Core Web Vitals — Own front-end performance optimization (LCP, CLS, INP), including resource loading strategies, image optimization, and render-blocking resolution.
Technical SEO Implementation— Implement and govern structured data (JSON-LD), hreflang, canonical tags, XML sitemaps, and metadata at scale across complex, multi-language web properties.
JavaScript SEO — Diagnose and resolve JavaScript rendering issues affecting Googlebot; lead decisions on client-side vs server-side rendering with SEO in mind.
Developer Mentorship — Act as the SEO authority within the engineering team; mentor front-end developers on SEO-safe development practices and review implementations.
SEO Collaboration — Partner with the SEO team to translate requirements into precise engineering tasks; contribute to SEO roadmap planning and technical strategy.
Code Quality — Write clean, maintainable code; lead code reviews with an SEO and performance lens; uphold engineering best practices.
Qualifications & Experience
6+ years of front-end development experience, including 2+ years with a strong focus on technical SEO
Expert-level proficiency in React, Next.js, or Vue/Nuxt with TypeScript
Deep knowledge of technical SEO: crawlability, indexability, structured data, hreflang, Core Web Vitals
Extensive experience with SSR/SSG and their SEO implications; ability to diagnose JavaScript rendering issues
Proficiency with SEO and performance tooling: Screaming Frog, Lighthouse, Google Search Console, PageSpeed Insights
Strong understanding of accessibility (WCAG) and its intersection with SEO
Excellent communication skills for translating complex SEO concepts to engineering and non-technical stakeholders
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with large-scale, multi-language or international web projects
Familiarity with Python or Google Apps Script for SEO automation
Background in iGaming, e-commerce, or SEO-led product organizations
