About the Role
We are seeking an experienced QA Lead to own and elevate the quality assurance function across one or more product squads. You will define and drive the test strategy, lead a team of QA engineers and analysts, and ensure that our software products meet the highest standards of reliability, functionality, and performance before they reach our users.
Key Responsibilities
QA Strategy — Define and own the overall QA strategy for assigned products or squads, covering manual testing, automation, performance, and regression practices.
Team Leadership — Lead, mentor, and develop a team of QA engineers and analysts; conduct regular 1:1s, set objectives, and build technical capability within the team.
Test Planning — Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and coverage matrices for new features, releases, and regression cycles.
Automation Oversight — Drive the adoption and growth of test automation; review and guide the development of automated test frameworks and CI/CD integration.
Defect Management— Oversee defect tracking and triage; ensure issues are well-documented, prioritised, and resolved effectively in collaboration with development teams.
Process Improvement — Continuously improve QA processes, tooling, and standards; introduce best practices and promote a quality-first culture across engineering.
Stakeholder Collaboration — Partner with Product Managers, Developers, and Scrum Masters to integrate quality practices into Agile ceremonies and delivery workflows.
Qualifications & Experience
5+ years of QA experience, including at least 1–2 years in a lead or senior QA role
Proven track record of building and executing QA strategies across manual and automated testing
Hands-on experience with test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar)
Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and Agile/Scrum practices
Experience with defect and test management tools (Jira, TestRail, Zephyr, or equivalent)
Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in iGaming, fintech, or high-traffic consumer applications
Familiarity with performance and load testing tools (JMeter, k6, Gatling)
Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured) and CI/CD platforms
