About the Role
As an IT Project Manager, you’ll manage end-to-end project delivery — balancing technical depth with business acumen. From planning to post-delivery evaluation, you’ll work across cross-functional teams to ensure outcomes are on time, on budget, and aligned with strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
Project Ownership & Delivery — Define and manage project scope, schedule, resources, and budget. Apply the most suitable methodology (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid) to ensure delivery success. Track performance using project KPIs and ensure timely completion of milestones.
Stakeholder & Team Coordination — Act as a key liaison between business stakeholders, development teams, and vendors. Communicate project status, risks, and decisions clearly to all levels including senior management. Motivate and support project teams to meet shared goals and timelines.
Risk, Compliance & Quality — Identify and mitigate project risks and issues with clear escalation paths. Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and comply with security, regulatory, and policy requirements. Conduct post-implementation reviews and lessons-learned workshops.
Budget & Vendor Oversight — Monitor project costs, track financial performance, and adjust forecasts as needed. Manage third-party suppliers and ensure contract deliverables are met on time and to standard.
Documentation & Reporting — Prepare and maintain project documentation including plans, logs, and dashboards. Generate regular status reports for executive leadership and project stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
Experience — 3+ years in IT project management across software development, infrastructure, or cloud environments
Tools — Proficiency in project management platforms such as Jira, Trello, or MS Project
Technical Acumen — Solid understanding of SDLC, DevOps practices, cloud technologies, and IT infrastructure
Education — Degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience
Certifications — PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM, or similar (preferred)
Leadership — Strong team coordination abilities with the capacity to motivate and align diverse stakeholders
Communication — Excellent verbal and written communication with both technical and non-technical audiences
Problem Solving — Strategic decision-making under pressure with a structured, evidence-based approach
