About the Role
As an Agile IT Change Analyst, you will support the Agile IT Change Manager in facilitating the change management process within an Agile environment. You will work closely with development teams, business stakeholders, and IT departments to ensure that changes are assessed, documented, and implemented effectively within Agile frameworks.
This role involves analyzing change requests, tracking progress, assessing impact, and ensuring that all changes align with Agile principles and organizational goals. Your ability to collaborate with multiple teams and manage change data will be key to maintaining smooth and continuous delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Change Request Analysis & Documentation: Analyze incoming change requests to assess their impact, urgency, and alignment with Agile delivery goals. Ensure all change requests are documented in detail, including requirements, risk assessments, and potential impacts on current Agile workflows. Work with stakeholders to clarify requirements and prioritize changes appropriately.
Agile Process Integration: Collaborate with Agile teams (Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Development Managers) to integrate changes into sprint cycles without disrupting delivery timelines. Support alignment with Agile processes (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and ensure changes are evaluated within ceremonies such as sprint reviews, planning sessions, and retrospectives.
Impact & Risk Assessment: Assist in identifying and assessing risks related to proposed changes, ensuring their impact on Agile workflows and ongoing projects is well understood. Help teams analyse effects on delivery goals, resource allocation, and timelines, and proactively address blockers or dependencies.
Change Monitoring & Reporting: Track changes through their full lifecycle, ensuring on-time delivery in accordance with Agile principles. Report progress to stakeholders with regular updates on status, issues, and potential delays. Maintain detailed records of approvals, impact assessments, and outcomes.
Collaboration & Communication: Act as a liaison between IT teams, business stakeholders, and the Agile IT Change Manager to ensure clear communication of change requirements. Foster cross-functional alignment and communicate risks or issues in a timely manner, escalating when necessary.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve the change management process with a focus on Agile practices. Provide feedback from change activities, contribute to process improvement discussions, and participate in Agile retrospectives.
