About the Role
Kairostek is looking for an experienced Development Manager to lead engineering delivery for our Player Account Management (PAM) system, the core platform managing player accounts, identity, and account lifecycle across our products. You'll manage a squad of .NET backend and React frontend engineers, owning delivery, technical quality, and team growth.
Key Responsibilities
• Squad Leadership: Manage and grow a cross-functional squad of .NET backend and React frontend engineers on the PAM system
• Delivery Ownership: Own sprint planning, delivery timelines, and release management for PAM features and fixes
• Technical Oversight: Guide architecture and technical decisions across .NET services and React frontends, ensuring scalability and maintainability
• People Management: Conduct 1:1s, performance reviews, career development, and hiring for the PAM squad
• Quality & Reliability: Ensure PAM meets reliability, security, and data-integrity standards for player account and identity data
• Cross-Team Coordination: Partner with Product, QA, Compliance, and other engineering squads to align the PAM roadmap with broader platform needs
• Process Improvement: Drive agile practices, code review standards, and CI/CD adoption within the squad
Qualifications & Experience
• 6+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years in a people-management or team-lead role
• Strong hands-on background in backend development with .NET / C# (ASP.NET Core or equivalent)
• Solid experience with frontend development in React (React.js)
• Experience managing or contributing to player/user account management, identity, or similar core platform systems
• Strong understanding of relational databases, API design, and secure handling of sensitive user data
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery practices
Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills
Qualifications & Experience
• iGaming, fintech, or crypto/payments platform experience
• Experience with player account systems, KYC/AML workflows, or identity verification integrations
• Familiarity with microservices architecture, message queues, and cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred)
• Experience with test automation and CI/CD pipelines
