About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mid to Senior Web Developer to join our team in Limassol, Cyprus, on a hybrid basis. In this role, you will take ownership of developing, scaling, and maintaining modern web applications and dynamic websites. You will work across both modern JavaScript stacks (React, Next.js) and PHP, while leveraging popular site builders and CMS tools to rapidly deploy high-impact, performant digital solutions.

As a mid-to-senior team member, you will contribute to architectural decisions, uphold clean coding standards, optimize web performance, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Frontend Architecture & Development: Design and build high-performance, scalable web interfaces using modern HTML5, CSS/SCSS, React, and Next.js (SSR/SSG).

• Backend & CMS Integration: Develop and maintain PHP-based web solutions, custom modules/themes, templates, and integrate RESTful/GraphQL APIs.

• Site Builders & Rapid Deployment: Build, customize, and extend visual site builders and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress/Elementor, Webflow, or headless setups) to support rapid delivery without compromising code quality.

• Performance, SEO & Security: Optimize Core Web Vitals, page speed, technical SEO structures, and ensure robust web application security practices.

• Mentorship & Code Quality: Participate in code reviews, establish best practices, and support more junior developers on the team.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with UI/UX designers, product managers, and marketing teams to translate complex Figma designs and requirements into seamless user experiences.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience Level: 4+ years of professional web development experience, with demonstrable mid-to-senior level ownership of production applications.

• Frontend Mastery: Deep expertise in semantic HTML5, modern CSS (Flexbox, CSS Grid, animations, Tailwind or CSS modules), modern JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript.

• React & Next.js: Proven experience building complex, production-ready web applications using React and Next.js (App Router, Server Components, SSR/SSG caching strategies).

• PHP Development: Solid experience with PHP, including object-oriented programming, custom theme/plugin development, and backend API consumption/routing.

• Site Builders & Visual Tools: Strong hands-on experience extending and customizing platforms such as WordPress, Webflow, or similar page builders.

• Workflow & Version Control: Proficiency with Git, standard CI/CD deployment workflows (e.g., Vercel, Docker, cPanel/Cloud hosting), and npm/yarn tooling.

• Location & Work Authorization: Based in or willing to relocate to Limassol, Cyprus, and legally eligible to work in Cyprus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with headless CMS solutions (e.g., Strapi, Contentful, Sanity).

• Experience with state management tools (Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or TanStack Query).

• Understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and web security principles (OWASP).

• Experience working in high-traffic sectors such as iGaming
